Improves Dental Manufacturing


We are a dental manufacturer that makes custom dental products, and we started using AI technology to create our dental retainers. We upload a scan of our customers’ teeth, and AI will figure out the trim path on how the retainer should be trimmed to achieve the correct tightness and fit. 

We then put it in our 5-axis trimmer, and it cuts the retainer following the trim path. It’s not 100% perfect, but it is very good. At our workplace, we could scale up the number of cases we can handle without the need to hire more skilled dental lab techs.
